The purpose of the meetings is to review the financial impact on the parish caused by the decrease in attendance at weekend Masses. The decrease in attendance has resulted in more than a $100,000 drop in Offertory income, greater than ten percent of the budgeted expectations. The June 5 meeting will include a short presentation on outreach efforts to those who are not coming to Mass and a question and answer session regarding the administration of our temporal resources.
Our pastor and presidents of the parish councils believe that it is important that you, our parishioners, be kept informed about the ministries and administration of your parish. The June 5 meeting will provide an opportunity for dialogue, and we hope that you can join us.
