Dear Parishioners, The Feast of the Presentation of the Lord, which falls on February 2, is the last of the feasts directly related to Christmas. The Jewish custom was to present the firstborn son to God in the Temple forty days after his birth. Mary and Joseph did this for Jesus. On this feast candles are blessed. Since this year the day falls on Saturday, we will celebrate a special Mass at 10 a.m. Everyone present will be invited to participate in the entrance procession with candles lighted. The candles will be provided. If you have devotional candles for the home you may bring them early and place them on the table with the church candles for the blessing.
Last year more than forty men from the parish attended the Men's Spirituality Conference at the Mirenda Center of Neumann University. on Saturday, March 9, 2019. This year our goal is for fifty men to join us. More information below:

Assumption BVM School will host a Designer Bag Bingo on Thursday, February 21, 2019. Doors open at 6:30 PM and Bingo begins at 7 PM. This is a 21+ event; BYOB. Tickets are $25 in advance online and $30 at the door, if not sold out beforehand. Only 300 tickets will be sold.
