Altar servers are very important to an orderly and graceful celebration of the Mass. The honor of serving is also a great benefit to children because it helps them to become more familiar with the Mass, to learn responsibility, to have an opportunity to serve the Church in an important way, and to help them learn how to carry themselves in front of the public. Monday, May 24th 7:00 pm - ABVM Church Please join us for a special Memorial Mass for Monsignor John W. Graf, our Pastor Emeritus, who passed away on May 24, 2020. Due to COVID-19 restrictions last year, we were unable to gather as a Church community to pray for our former beloved pastor who faithfully administered the sacraments with joy and compassion to our church community for over 20 years. He was truly loved and cherished by many.
Donations can be placed in the collection box in the ABVM Church vestibule from April 10th - April 18th. This year the Ladies Auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus is collecting nonperishable food items to be donated to The Bridge located at the Avon Grove Church of the Nazarene. Every Tuesday night, The Bridge distributes food to our neighbors in need. Items that they are in most need include: pancake mix, jelly, muffin mix, individual applesauce packs, black beans, tomato products, and boxed macaroni and cheese, but all nonperishables are welcome. If you have any questions, email Jennnifer Hoffman at [email protected].
