This will be a night of fun that you won’t want to miss! Join us for our NEW fundraiser event formally known as Night at the Races. Our theme this year is LUAU! Come dressed in your island attire and you may win the contest for best dressed! We will have a fun evening raising money through raffles, 50/50’s, a silent auction, and a WINE PULL! Help the RED CROSS to maintain a safe and stable blood supply by making your blood donation appointment today! THANK YOU! Thank you to all donors who gave their time to donate blood on April 28th. We had 30 productive donations. This will go to help 90 area hospital patients.

Manna Food bags will be distributed next weekend, May 14/15. Kindly return your filled MANNA bag to Church on Saturday or Sunday, May 21/22. Canned food items in greatest need are beef stew, tuna fish, canned fruit & vegetables, pasta and soup. Thank you for reaching out to people in crisis situations. The food items will help stock our local food pantry at St. Rocco’s in Avondale for the summer months when donations are low, but the need for food continues

Children’s Liturgy of the Word Children’s Liturgy of the Word will recess during the summer months after our session on May 22nd. We encourage our parish children to play and pray during their summer days of fun until we resume again on September 18th!

Parishioners are welcome to participate with the Children of ABVM School as they pray the “LIVING ROSARY” on Wednesday, May 18th at 1:00 pm in the ABVM Main Church.

Due to the Priest Convocation in Hershey, PA, we will not be having daily Mass at Assumption BVM on Tuesday and Wednesday this week (May 10 & 11). Please note that daily Mass will be offered at St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Mother Church in Avondale at 9 am on Tuesday and Wednesday. Eucharistic Adoration will follow the normal schedule.

Join us for this celebration which includes a beautiful outdoor procession to the statue of Mary in front of the ABVM Church, Marian hymns, and May crowning. Rosary : 8:30am Mass & May Procession: 9:00am
